You can view Huijue GPON device information using eSight management, SNMP, or GPON CLI commands to monitor OLTs, ONTs, and MxUs.

Using eSight for Device Management

Huawei's eSight platform allows centralized management of GPON devices. You can:

  • View device resources and statuses for OLTs, ONTs, and MxUs.
  • Monitor real-time link and network health, including alarms and KPIs.
  • Check device topology to see the networking mode and running status of all PON devices.
  • Access device details such as serial numbers, registration status, and service configurations.
  • eSight communicates with OLTs via SNMP and SFTP, and OLTs interact with ONTs using OMCI interfaces to provide detailed device information .

Using GPON CLI Commands

For direct command-line access on Huawei GPON devices:

  • Display GPON interface information: display gpon-info interface pon <interface-number> This shows ONU ID, serial number, password, link status, registration status, PLOAM status, port role, and active/standby state .
  • Check system version and interfaces: display version and display interface provide OS version, GPON ports, and interface status .
  • View running and startup configurations: Commands like display current-configuration allow you to see configured IPs, VLANs, and service profiles .

Using SNMP and MIBs

  • SNMP can be used to query device status and performance metrics remotely.
  • Huawei provides the HUAWEI-XPON-TRAP-MIB, which defines GPON and EPON management objects, allowing monitoring of traps, alarms, and device events .
