Croatia has successfully deployed 100G optical modulators across a 400 km network, enhancing national high-speed data transmission capabilities.

Croatia's national electricity company, Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP Group), in collaboration with ADVA Optical Networking and regional partner ITeRATIO, has completed the country's first deployment of 100G technology. This deployment spans over 400 kilometers between the cities of Zagreb and Split, marking a significant upgrade from the previous 10G infrastructure and positioning Croatia at the forefront of high-speed optical networking in the region . The deployment utilizes the ADVA FSP 3000 platform, which allows for a cost-effective and rapid upgrade of existing optical networks to support 100G speeds.
